Entering into psychotherapy takes courage, and knowing as much as possible about who you are considering to escort you on that journey can be helpful in taking that first step.

As a beneficiary of the Canadian and Brazilian colonial system, I acknowledge that I work, live and play on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples – Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. I am a settler in Canada, and while I am a BIPOC woman, I am also an educated, cis-gendered woman: I am aware of my social location and its many privileges, so I strive to always learn and stay humble.

I see curiosity as a superpower. It’s taken me to incredible places, both out in the world and within myself: experiencing the beauty of this planet grew my ability to see beauty everywhere.

I have also experienced sadness, anger, disappointment, grief, fear, anxiety, and through fierce introspection, I’ve been grateful to use those difficulties to deepen skills to be present, and thus my appreciation for the beauty of the world, myself and life’s journey.​

I love to spend my free time in the company of my husband, my two stepdaughters and our dog Benjamin. I appreciate a great book, walking in the woods, meditation, running, cycling and the silence which is created by a snowy day. I honour my stories, and will honour your stories, hoping that one day we may sit and talk.
